Seven Corners Medical Center was built up from the solid foundation set by Cardiovascular Center of Northern Virginia (CVC) in this location since two decades. The late Dr. William Mroczek started CVC with the objective of having a medical clinic in the community and conducting cardio-vascular research. Through the years, Dr. Mroczek and CVC made significant contributions to medical research by participating in various clinical study programs. In December 2003, Dr. Mroczek passed away; but he had handed over the reins of the clinic with existing staff to Dr. Anu Rachel George before that. Dr. Mroczek had mentored Dr. George since 2000 and wanted her to serve the community by managing the clinic. Seven Corners Medical Center has continued the legacy left by Dr. Mroczek and CVC, and kept the Clinical Research and Weight Loss Center along with the Medical Clinic.
