Lab ResultsIt usually takes 5 business days from the date of the specimen collection before the results are received, reviewed and filed in your medical record. A Nurse or Physician will notify you of any abnormal results.
Prescriptions and RefillsPrescription refills are only made during office hours when we have access to your medical records, except in an emergency situation. You will have to be seen by a physician before a prescription is refilled, to ensure that your medical conditions have not changed since the last visit and prescription. Due to the high number of calls we receive from pharmacies, it is important to address your prescription needs during your office visit. Please notify us 2-3 days in advance, for refills of routine medications. Some insurance plans provide significant savings by using their mail order pharmacy. Mail order pharmacies usually authorize a 90-day supply of medication for the same price as a 30-day supply. Please inform us if you want to take advantage of this savings so prescriptions can be written appropriately.
