  • How do i make appointments?

    Appointments can be made by calling us during office hours or can be scheduled at the end of your office visit. We will confirm all patients 24 hours before their scheduled appointments. If you need to reschedule an appointment, please call us as early as possible so that we can make that time available to other patients. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment to complete any necessary paperwork. We sincerely believe that your time is valuable, and we will do our best to minimize any delays. If your visit is delayed due to some unpredictable happening at the clinic, we will make every effort to accommodate you or reschedule your appointment.
  • Walk-Ins

    We are unable to accept walk-in patients at this time. However, we do offer a limited number of same-day/emergency appointments reserved for patients with medical emergencies. Please call our office ahead of time to see if a same-day appointment is available.
  • Insurance

    Seven Corners Medical Center participates with most of the major insurance carriers in the Mid-Atlantic region. Please bring your insurance and identification cards with you at the time of appointment. Full payment of deductibles, co-payments and non-covered services are due at the time the service is rendered. Please contact your insurance company for more information about what is included in your coverage A partial list of insurances accepted by us are Aetna, Alliance PPO, Amerigroup, Anthem, Carefirst BC/BS, Choice Care, CIGNA, First Health, HealthKeepers, Kaiser Permanente, MDIPA, Medicare, Medicaid, NCPPO, Optimum Choice, PHCS, Tricare, United Health Care, Unicare, US Health Care and others… Please call us if you have any other insurance carrier as we update our list frequently.
  • Telephone Calls

    Telephone consultations are scheduled normally between the hours of 8 AM and 9 AM. If you are calling with some urgent concerns, the physician or staff will take the call immediately; if not, we will return the call as soon as they become available. If the physician is not available to take your call, please give all necessary information to the Staff so that the Physician can return your call at the earliest opportunity.
  • Lab Results

    It usually takes 5 business days from the date of the specimen collection before the results are received, reviewed and filed in your medical record. A Nurse or Physician will notify you of any abnormal results.
  • Prescriptions and Refills

    Prescription refills are only made during office hours when we have access to your medical records, except in an emergency situation. You will have to be seen by a physician before a prescription is refilled, to ensure that your medical conditions have not changed since the last visit and prescription. Due to the high number of calls we receive from pharmacies, it is important to address your prescription needs during your office visit. Please notify us 2-3 days in advance, for refills of routine medications. Some insurance plans provide significant savings by using their mail order pharmacy. Mail order pharmacies usually authorize a 90-day supply of medication for the same price as a 30-day supply. Please inform us if you want to take advantage of this savings so prescriptions can be written appropriately.
